2025 6,500 Modified 4x4 Rules
1. Tires are limited to 34 x 18 x 15 bar or 35 x 12.5 x 16 tire on any width rim. Cut tires are allowed.
2. All gas powered trucks have unlimited cubic inches and must be naturally aspirated.
3. Diesel engines are prohibited.
4. No aluminum after market cylinder blocks allowed.
5. Wheel base to be a maximum of 133 inches.
6. Hitch height is to be 26 inches for all trucks. Hitch must be 30% of the wheel base or longer on all trucks. Hitching eye to be a minimum of 3/4 inch thick and 3 1/2 inches diameter hole. No straight clevis allowed.
7. Weights must not extend forward more than 60 inches from the center line of the front wheels. No weights are allowed in cab or under hood.
8. All trucks must have a kill switch capable of shutting down engine and electric fuel pump.
9. Exhaust on all trucks must exit vertically or rearward.
10. Trucks with manual transmission must have an approved steel bell housing or safety blanket around
bell housing. Trucks with automatic transmissions must have safety blanket covering torque converter
and transmission 360 degrees.
11. All trucks must have 2 metal loops shielding each drive shaft (one on each end of shaft). 360 degree loop
must be a minimum of 3/4 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick steel. Loop to be placed no farther than 10 inches from universal joint.
12. All trucks to have 360 degree metal shield around universal joints with a minimum of 6 inches wide and 1/4 inch thick steel. (may run full on center drive shaft)
13. Cool cans will be allowed to cool fuel only.
14. Engine must be located within the confines of the engine compartment. All engine components must
remain behind the grill. Rear of the engine block can not be moved forward of the center line of the front axle.
15. Two wheel drive modified trucks can compete in 6,500 Modified 4x4 class under Twin States two wheel drive modified rules.
